What is Perimenopause?
Our lives are always changing, just like our bodies.
As we age, our skin becomes more irritated, sensitive,and dry as our hormones are fluctuating during the perimenopause phase.
Perimenopause is the moment your menstrual cycle begins to slow to exist – as early as 35 years old –you aren't producing as many eggs as you were in your younger years and your body begins the process of closing up the factory. With that, our estrogen, progesterone, and other hormones drop and the imbalances begin. This causes a shift in the way our bodies and skin react. During this period, you may experience a "second coming" of puberty, as some women like to call it, such as acne, hot flashes, increased stress, anxiety and depression, headaches, drier skin, increased sensitivity, vaginal dryness, and more.

Brassica Glycerides
Derived from Rapeseed, Brassica Glycerides are a co-emulsifier and emulsion stabilizer that we use in our formulas for sensitive and easily irritated skin as an alternative to coconut-derived emulsifiers and stabilizers.
Oatmeal Extract
Oatmeal naturally helps to calm sensitive, reactive skin, providing relief from irritation and itchiness.
Stevia Leaf & Stem Extract
Stevia leaf is a proven, vegan-friendly ingredient that entails a retinoid-like mechanism and helps minimize the appearance of wrinkles for younger-looking skin. We use this ingredient as a retinol-alternative to provide the same skin cell regeneration benefits without the increased sensitivity.
Propanediol 1,3
Propanediol 1,3 is a natural, skin-friendly humectant that is made from renewable corn sugar fermentation.
Lactic Acid
Lactic Acid is an AHA (alpha-hydroxy acid) which functions as a gentle exfoliant to brighten and even skin tone, but also has moisturizing properties that helps rejuvenate dry, dull skin.
Aloe Vera Gel
Aloe Vera is a known soothing agent that helps to calm reddened, irritated skin, especially from sun burns.
